” Why” some AAS compounds cost more than others…
I will keep this post short for I literally don’t feel that guys need to know anything more than this..
All Steriods are derived from Testosterone..
In other words, Testosterone is the base for the Synthesis of all our AAS.
and the more ” modifications” to the Testosterone Molecule you make, the ” more complicated” and the ” longer the synthesis process takes”
One Step away from Testosterone is DHT.. so ” DHT” literally takes only marginally more effort to make than Testosterone.
Remember DHT Derivatives are NOT DHT
So to arrive at say Stanozolol
Stanozolol is formed by starting with Testosterone, converting that to DHT then converting the DHT to Oxymetholone ( Anadrol ) then Oxymetholone is converted to Stanozolol
Guess which one costs more to make.. Testosterone or Stanozolol?
The most complicated drug to make basically Primobolan.
The most expensive drug ? Basically Primobolan.
I am talking about Chemical Synthesis here and the starting material of Testosterone is 4-Androstene-3,17-dione (4-AD) which is a fermentation product
This is the chemical process
This the fermentation process used to ” make” 4-Androstene-3,17-dione (4-AD) for any nerdy enough to be interested
” Isnt it true that there are several “methods” that you might employ in the synthesis of Testosterone ? “
Super interesting question.. Remembering I am NOT an Organic Chemist.. by no means haha
I understand the reason that this method is used today is the efficacy of the process
This model produces 18.6 g/L of 4-AD after 190 hours of Biotransformation time.
Some ” methods” are as low as 0.1 g/L after 96 hours clearly highly inefficient by comparison..
This method is the method used today due to commercial reality
